The one thing no blackjack online player wants (other than a pair of sixes) is to be backed-off from a table by a casino floor employee. They can be polite or abrupt, gentle or aggressive. Either scenario leads to some form of embarrassment and, more importantly, an inability to continue to play and make money.

What some RushmoreCasino players might not be aware of is something called the SIN that you can end up on, hurting your chances greatly of ever playing blackjack in a group of casinos again, or at least for the foreseeable future. What’s SIN? It stands for Surveillance Inter-casino Network. Basically it’s a database accessible by groups of casinos that all feed names into it, one of which could be yours. If you’re backed off from a casino table, depending on the circumstances – one of which could be your reaction t the situation – you might end up on this list. If you do, it’s a red flag to the casino that you might be a counter, and you run the risk of being banned from multiple establishments.

So, if you count, that’s fine, just be aware this is possible fallout from that choice. If you are going to count and run the risk of being added to a SIN, there are at least a couple things you can do to help yourself out.

First, don’t stay at the same blackjack table for too long. It doesn’t matter how low the stakes are, and it doesn’t matter how much cover you think you’re laying down. The casino is probably smarter than you, and they certainly have more eyes than you do. Limit your sessions to 20 minutes or so.

Second, try your best to avoid letting the casino get ahold of your name. This means don’t gamble at the casino you’re staying at if it’s in Vegas or some other destination besides your hometown, and buy in with cash, not a credit card. Then, if you’re asked to leave, you usually can get away without them knowing who you are…and if that’s the case, you can’t be added to their SIN.

Obviously, it’s extremely difficult to get off an OnlineVegas SIN, and in most cases you never will, thus preventing you from even playing other games for low stakes just to have a good time if they find out who you are. So take the preventative advice and you should be fine.
